So today I saw this beautiful dress in an advertisement and jus had to start doing it… 😛 well its so easy to make and looks perfect as a date-night or cocktail dress! I have made the patterns but am going to wait for my body form that I ordered to arrive before I start the Draping… 😛
Here Katie Holmes has this dress with a high neck band at the top but I was thinking more of a V-shaped neck band which this fellow blogger>> Zibergirlsewing shows with fine details!! 🙂

now this time We are going to do a quick corset form for the maxi dress.. not much of use in everyday… but adds a beautiful heightened style to our dresses on special occasions!
Well I am still going to use a fit tee/tank top as my guide.. Not very much into perfect pattern making…neither am I into those excessive tight corsets making us uncomfortable! 😉 here we are just going to incorporate the sew lines achieved in a corset style…gives a high quality stitch look to all!
